The Donald makes the military's LGBTQ, LGBQ
Donald Trump says transgender people will be banned from serving in the U.S. military.
WASHINGTON — Last week U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted that people identifying as transgender would be banned from serving in the U.S. military.
“After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military,” Trump announced in a series of tweets last week.
“Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.”
The move comes during a chaotic time at the White House and several policy failings for the Republican party.
