MINAS GERAIS, BRAZIL — An off-duty police officer took down an armed robber at a gas station in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Although he might have been trying to be a good samaritan, in the heat of the moment he inadvertently used his daughter as a human shield, putting her right in the line of fire as he shot at the armed robber.
The shootout ended with the robber being hit by gunfire and dying, while the little girl probably sustained some hearing damage thanks to her father's overzealous gun-slinging.
