Zhang Ziyi the Chinese star of the hit movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon has denied a story claiming she took cash in return for sleeping with Chinese politicians, including disgraced former Chongqing mayor Bo Xilai.
The report, which surfaced in the Chinese-language press, allege Dalian businessman Xu Ming first paid Zhang almost US$1 million to 'interact' with him in 2007.
Xu then reportedly introduced Zhang to Bo and said she slept with him up to 10 times over the next four years, earning around US$1.5 million on each occasion
The reports also allege she made several millions more from similar arrangements with other rich and powerful figures.
Zhang has furiously denied the claims through a publicist.
