LOS ANGELES — Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have announced that they are getting a divorce after 10-years.
The Hollywood couple announced the news just one day after their 10-year wedding anniversary.
"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the two said in a joint statement.
"We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.
Affleck, 42, and 43-year-old Garner will share joint custody of their three kids.
The couple are reportedly using a mediator and business managers to work out how their assets will be split. The two could be worth around $150 million.
The two met on the set in 2001 filming "Pearl Harbor" but got serious during the filming of "Daredevil". The two were married in June 29, 2005.
