NSFW    SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA — High school teacher Laura Whitehurst had a thing for her students, and it’s cost her former school district millions of dollars in an abuse settlement with one of her victims.

In 2012, Whitehurst, 29, engaged in a sexual relationship with a student that began with a trip to Disneyland. The student, who was 16 at the time, claims the naughty teacher grabbed his hand and told him she wanted to kiss him.

The incident at Disneyland led to trips to Miss Whitehurst’s apartment where she’d get him drunk. The student told investigators he and Miss Whitehurst had sexual intercourse numerous times over the next few months. In June 2013, the romps culminated in the birth of a child, with the male student in the delivery room.

Miss Whitehurst was arrested and charged with 41 felony counts of unlawful sex acts for the relationship, as well as having had sex with two other students. She was sentenced to a year in prison, but was released after six months.

This past week, the male student who fathered her child has been awarded $6 Million in an abuse settlement with the school district.
