Nasty or Niiiice
DALLAS — A teacher has been charged with sexual assault after getting it on with a 14-year-old student, who then blackmailed her for thousands of dollars.
Social studies teacher Sandy Doan, 30, has admitted to sending explicit text messages to the boy that eventually led to them having sex, ABC-affiliate WFAA reported.
Doan taught the boy at Raul Quintanilla Sr. Middle School in Dallas, where she also coached cross-country and soccer.
The boy scored with his teacher at a park in July 2015 — the first of at least three illicit encounters between the two — according to an arrest document,
The boy began blackmailing Doan in January last year, saying he would tell police about the affair unless she paid up. Police said the teacher made several payments to the boy, handing over a total of 28,000 dollars in hush money.
The boy disappeared for up to three days at a time after receiving cash from Doan, spending it on alcohol and drugs, according to family members.
Doan was arrested last week after the boy’s mother contacted the school principal and demanded the teacher stop giving her son money.
Doan was charged with sexual assault and placed on administrative leave, but the boy is not expected to face any criminal charges.
