Swedish cop in bikini tackles ‘lucky' homeless crook
Off-duty officer Mikaela Kellner was sunbathing with friends when a man stole one of her friend’s cell phone. Kellner sprung to action and tackled the man to the ground.
STOCKHOLM — A photo of a cop busting a pickpocket in Sweden has gone viral.
The cop, Mikaela Kellner, is seen in the photo sporting a bikini while pinning the thief to the ground. The image was posted on Kellner’s Instagram along with her other fitness and bodybuilding photos.
Kellner, who was a former Swedish Ninja Warrior contestant, was off duty and sunbathing in Stockholm with a group of friends when a homeless man approached the group, attempting to sell them newspapers. At first, Kellner felt pity for the man trying to make an honest living.
But, when the group declined to make a purchase, the man made a move for her friend’s cell phone. She wrote that the man placed a newspaper over the phone and stealthily picked up the device along with the paper while he was leaving.
When her friend, who is also a cop, noticed the missing phone, the two sprang into action. The pair chased the man for about 50 feet before Mikaela tackled him to the ground.
