Nine people were killed and at least 20 were injured in a bus crash in Spain on July 8.
The bus was serving the route between Serranillos and Avila and was carrying around 30 passengers. It was reported that the bus was not equipped with seat belts for passengers.
It was not clear how the bus went off the road and hit the guardrail on the right side at about the 123 kilometers mark on the N-403 highway heading towards Avila.
The bus was speeding before the accident, according to local media reports. The driver was unhurt and tested negative in a breathalyzer test.
Local press reports said the accident is the most serious accident to have occurred in the country in the last five years.
