Mother and child almost crushed to death as high winds raise the roof
A mother and her young daughter ran for their lives when a gust of wind lifted the roof off a building near the Russian city of Krasnodar on Saturday.
KRASNODAR, RUSSIA — A mother and her young daughter were nearly gone with the wind on a blustery day near the Russian city of Krasnodar.
Surveillance video uploaded to Viralhog shows the pair enjoying a stroll on Saturday afternoon, as high winds whip through the trees and pedestrians walk with their hoods up for protection against the elements.
Unaware of the imminent danger, the mother and daughter pause for a moment, their attention drawn to something out of shot.
Seeing that the wind has ripped the roof off a nearby building, the mother grabs her child by the hand. They make a run for it, narrowly avoiding what would surely have been certain death as the roof comes crashing down to the ground.
