Marlins' Christian Yelich says that's not him in the butt-munching video
Christian Yelich says the man in a recent butt-munching video that went viral after it was posted on Twitter was ‘100 percent not me.’
MIAMI — Miami Marlins outfielder Christian Yelich denied accusations that he was involved in a butt munching video posted online.
Yelich hopped on Twitter on Monday to comment on the video before deleting his tweet shortly after, according to NBC Miami.
“A false and defamatory video was tweeted about me the past 24hrs. It is 100% not me in the video. My attorneys are looking into it,” the 24-year-old said in the tweet.
A since-deleted Twitter account @RealMarlinsFan posted the video of a guy who looks an awful lot like Yelich munching on the rear end of a woman and claimed it was Yelich in the clip.
Luckily, the video can still be seen on the Twitter account @squirters.
Yelich is enjoying a breakout season this year. He’s hitting .318 with 24 doubles and seven homers in 86 games, according to CBS Sports.
