Magnitude 6.3 earthquake rocks Taiwan
A deadly magnitude 6.3 earthquake rattled central Taiwan on Sunday, killing at least four and injuring 21 people.
The quake struck 35 kilometers east of Nantou County, at a depth of 10 kilometers, which released the same amount of energy as two atom bombs.
Taiwan’s Seismology Center says Sunday’s earthquake was related to the magnitude 7.3 killer earthquake that occurred 14 years ago, on September 21, 1999.
