SPOKANE, WASHINGTON — A drunk hipster stuck his nose in police business where it didn’t belong, and literally fell flat on his face.

On August 10, body cam footage was posted on the Spokane Police Department’s Facebook page, showing Sgt. Eric Kannberg was dealing with an intoxicated man downtown. His work was interrupted when a man named Corey Counts walks up to him and his partner, and begins verbally harassing them. In the video, Counts appears to have been heavily intoxicated at the time.

Sgt. Kannberg answers all Counts’ questions in a polite way, while repeatedly asking him to step away. When Counts continues bothering the officers and gets into a minor physical altercation wth them, they tell him he’s under arrest. Counts immediately flees the scene, but trips and falls to the ground as he’s crossing the street.

The body cam video later shows the officers tracking him down and arresting him. Counts was charged with third degree assault.
