A 26-year-old Japanese DJ was arrested on Tuesday for attempted murder. On the evening of December 23rd, the accused man, Akifumi Harada, allegedly stabbed the victim in the shoulder and waist with a survival knife, as well as punching and kicking him, at Harada’s flat in Nerima Tokyo.
Harada threatened to track him down and assault him on the street if the man went to the police. The suspect brought the badly-wounded man to the entrance after beating him unconscious. Then, the suspect called the police anonymously, to report that someone had fallen on the street. The victim reportedly suffered severe injuries which will take at least a month to heal completely.
He exposed Harada during police questioning, saying that Harada stabbed him because he was enraged by the man’s lack of seriousness and punctuality at a painting job Harada found for him. However, Harada denied all charges during questioning.
