SAN FRANCISCO — A detective robot named Carmel will try to crack the Zodiac case as part of a new documentary for the History Channel.
Named Carmel, and developed by Cali scientist Kevin Knight, the system will help crack the codes in the case.
Zodiac was offed at least five people — that police are certain of — in Northern California during the 60s and 70s who left a series of encrypted clues, but was never caught. It's said the total number of victims may be the twenties or thirties.
According to History.com, Carmel has been programmed to think like Zodiac and as such, the supercomputer has started writing seriously creepy poetry.
