WALTON, FLORIDA — Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Kromer was arrested Sunday after he and his son got into a confrontation with three boys on Inlet Beach in Florida, authorities said.

The argument was reportedly over the boys' use of three beach chairs near an access point to the beach.

Victims told police that Kromer grabbed the boys' fishing pole and threw it into the water before pushing one of the boys to the ground and punching him in the face.

He allegedly demanded that they return the chairs to where they found them and also threatened to kill the boy's family if he reported him to the police, according to one of the victims.

Kromer was arrested at 2 a.m. on a misdemeanor battery charge. He has since been released on bail.

The NFL has recently outlined a new personal conduct policy regarding assault and battery, meaning Kromer could be face a minimum six-game suspension.

Kromer joined the Buffalo Bills this year after being fired as offensive line coach from the Chicago Bears in December.
